We at Prism Inc. are doing our best to break down the stigma encompassing mental health issues by raising awareness.

          We are here to aid, enlighten, and provide services to everyone dealing with mental health issues. We execute this by presenting a safe and secure space for people struggling with mental health issues or caring for a friend or family member who has a mental health issue. We are encouraging everyone out there to improve their mental health.

I'm Gerald C. Surmieda

Author & Mental Health Advocate

           In his 18 years of existence, Gerald already experienced a lot of hardships in life. There was even a moment when he thought that all the things were too unbearable for him to carry. But instead of giving up, he gathered himself and stood up, after falling a lot of times. All his experiences in life give him the resilience to continue in life despite the challenges he is facing. Even though there will be more hardships in life, he’ll continue to stand his ground and face these things head-on with his head held high.

        Through self-development work, he surpassed those trials and began to love himself. Gerald is on a mission to share what he has learned over the years about self-worth, self-belief, and self-care. He wants other people to learn to value themselves and he aims to promote this through his blog. He also aims to make depression and anxiety okay to talk about. He believes that the most important thing you can do for yourself is to practice self-reflection and awareness.

I'm Athea Kate D. Antolino

Author & Mental Health Advocate

         Athea Kate is a huge advocate for mental and spiritual development. After going through a lot of stress and failures in both academics and in life, she decided something had to be done. She had to change and she needed to better herself to withstand the stressors of life. She found her strength through meditation and by distracting herself from unwanted thoughts.

 

         On this blog, she and her co-bloggers share some tips that they learned to have a stronger and more resilient mind. She wants people to know that they don’t have to suffer and that mental illness does not define us. She wants others to learn to value themselves and it is her aim to promote this through blogs.

I'm Gil Lawrence M. Ronzales

Author & Mental Health Advocate

        Lawrence wants to advocate and spread awareness about mental health, such as the common issue of mental health. In the past, Lawrence was one of the people who also suffer from mental health challenges. As he develop himself, he was able to cope with the challenges he struggled with in the past. He was able to realize that mental health greatly matters and has a great impact on people.

 

         So Lawrence decided to become one of the advocators to promote and spread awareness on mental health. He uses this platform to write blogs in order to give importance to mental health which can help other people who also struggled with mental health issues. He’s ready to become the “comforter” and “talking buddy” among its audience. His ultimate goal is to decrease the number of people who struggled with mental health issues.

I'm Aila Marie P. Espartero

Author & Mental Health Advocate

        Aila Marie is on a mission to eliminate the stigma surrounding mental health. Through speaking up about mental health, she has found a purpose in life. She uses her life lessons from the past to tackle topics such as depression and anxiety. She believes that if she was able to talk about what was going on in her life then her struggles would have been lessened and cut short.

 

         She now uses this platform to talk about mental health and to help others to “find their bliss” through her tips on mental health and personal growth. She wants to connect with others who “think or feel ‘too much’” and act as an advocate for mental health.

  • Improve public awareness of mental health and the relationship between mental and physical well-being.

  • Provide understanding and opportunities to recognize early warning signs of mental health issues and programs and an atmosphere that promotes recovery and enhances the quality of life.

  • Assure that the people who request details or require a mental health referral have privileged access to the information they need and know how to obtain it.

  • Advocate for better service and treatment, where reform is needed.

          Until now, talking about mental health has been a taboo subject because of stigmas.

          We at Prism Inc. wish to work on erasing the stigmas associated with mental health issues. We encourage every reader to take control of their mental health by providing day-to-day knowledge to safeguard their mental well-being.

 

          We recognize the therapeutic value of bringing people together, delivering evidence-based knowledge, and treating readers with understanding and respect. It is especially significant in mental health, where people frequently feel alone in their struggles.

 

          We think that with the correct mental health tools and support, everyone can thrive in their overall health, regardless of their starting point. Our objective is to lay a solid, evidence-based basis for increased emotional well-being, self-awareness, and strength in the face of the challenges ahead.
